Ingredients
1 loaf of day-old bread cut into 1-inch cubes
2 large apples peeled cored and thinly sliced
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
6 large eggs
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Add the bread cubes and apple slices to the egg mixture, stirring gently to combine.
