2 apples
peeled and finely chopped
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
8 pieces caramel candy
2 tbsp butter
melted
Cinnamon sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the chopped apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt, stirring until the apples are tender. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate it into individual pieces. Flatten each biscuit slightly in your palm.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture and a piece of caramel candy in the center of each biscuit. Fold the dough over and pinch to seal completely.
- Brush the tops of the bombs with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, if desired.
- Arrange the bombs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
